38th All Star Game NHL Puck - Hartford Whalers February 4th 1986

My father in law got this in Connecticut at The Hartford Civic Center in 1986. Some scratches are present and paint is coming off on both sides. Didn’t attempt to clean it because I was afraid more would come off. From The Hartford Courant: Feb. 4, 1986 -- Whalers host the 38th NHL All-Star Game before a sellout crowd of 15,126. Bryan Trottier scores the winner in overtime to give the Wales Conference a 4-3 victory over the Campbell Conference. Sylvain Turgeon records an assist. The Whalers were truly on fire in the 80s. Sad to see what ended up happening to the team 10 years after this game.
